Horizon Hospice is an entirely volunteer-run organization, Horizon Hospice volunteers undergo a two-day training course in order to provide clients with respite care.

 

They provide personal needs such as grocery shopping, housekeeping or even entertainment such as card games.

Horizon Hospice also loans out heavy equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers and shower chairs. As part of its service, it provides necessities such as bed pads, diapers, pain medication and medical equipment free of charge. All donations allow these services to continue helping those in Elko County.
